Cancellations

Can I cancel my cake order?

We require 3 days notice for all orders and we reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to complete it within this time. If we need to cancel your order, there will be a processing fee incurred as per our return policy.

Please note payment processing fees are incorporated into your order total.

Should you wish to cancel an order, you may incur additional processing fees.

  • Cancelling within 3 days

If you cancel an order within 3 days of your collection date, you may be subject to forfeiting 50% of the total. We will supply a credit note for the remaining 50%.

  • Cancelling with notice (3+ days)

If you cancel an order prior to the 3 day window we can issue you a credit note or a refund which will incur a processing fee of 1.75% + A$0.30 (domestic cards) or 2.9% + A$0.30 (international cards).

Can I cancel my catering order?

We require 7 days notice for all orders and we reserve the right to cancel an order if we are unable to complete it within this time. If we need to cancel the order there will be a processing fee incurred as per our return policy.

  • Cancelling within 7 days

If you cancel an order within 7 days you may be subject to 50% of the total order and we will supply a credit note for the remaining 50%.

  • Cancelling with notice (7+ days)

If you cancel an order prior to the 7 day window we can issue you a credit note or a refund which will incur a processing fee of 1.75% + A$0.30 (domestic cards) or 2.9% + A$0.30 (international cards).

Changes

Can I change my order?

We can apply changes to your order if your request is placed 3 days (72 hours), before the collection day. If the change to your order incurs an additional fee, we will invoice you separately for the outstanding amount. Should your change mean you are entitled to a refund, we will deposit that amount on the credit card you have provided. 

Can I return my order?

Acting under the Food Act 1984 - Food (Forms and registrations 2015). we cannot accept returns for safety and Hygiene purposes. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.

Refunds

Damages & issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please provide evidence of the damage, defective or wrong item when contacting us. 

Refund

We will notify you once we’ve received your cancellation or request for change, and notify you via email of the outcome. If your refund is approved, you will be automatically refunded via your original payment method within 10 business days.

Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.


If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at millstonepatisserie.com.

Processing fee

If you exchanging an order and the total price is different than your new order, the processing fee will be automatically applied on the balance.
